Mela91e - Who Am I?
Who am I - that's a question we all ask at some point and quite often that's one of the questions we are asking when we start to look into Life Coaching!
who am I, what am I doing, where am I going!
Well here are a few of my answers to some of those questions.
I am a competent, qualified and spiritual person who has committed my life to helping others move further along their chosen paths! and in so doing I have moved along my chosen path with great joy and success!
I hope that I can truly help others to Reach for The Heights that we are all truly capable of, my current method of ensuring this is through the use of Life Coaching in all ways possible.
Qualifications
- I have been involved in various fields of coaching for a number of years, starting out as a Residential Youth Worker, where I first obtained a Basic Certificate in Counseling Skills (1994).
- I then later moved on into the field of Training and Business Coaching.
- I am a fully trained Trainer (First Training course 1997, with refresher and updated 'Training the Trainer' Course 2003).
- I hold an Accredited Diploma in Performance Coaching (Business). This was awarded to me in 2003, an Accredited Certificate in Life Coaching that was awarded to me in early 2004, and I also hold a further Accredited Diploma in Life Coaching awarded to me in 2005, this involved a minimum of 60 hours of practical coaching experience that is assessed, as well as course work on all further aspects of Life Coaching. It is one of the most intensive courses in regards to actual hours of assessed practical coaching experience undertaken!.
- The Certificate fully qualified me to coach, but the Diploma ensures that you can have the utmost confidence in my Coaching and my experience.
- As you can see I am well versed in a number of fields, both business and personal.
- I also specialise in Spiritual Coaching and Mentoring.
- I hold a Bachelor of Divinity (2:1hons) Degree from London University (1992) and I am an Ordained Minister in a non-denominational free church.
- I have studied Comparative Religions and alternative forms of spirituality and methods of worship, and also Christian Theology at Master of Theology level, again at London University (1994).
- I am also Certified in Usui Reiki up to Master Level.
- I have studied and use NLP.
- I have obtained a Certificate in The Healing of Conflict - Free to Forgive.
- I am also a member of the International Association of Coaches (membership no: 107659).
- I am a Registered member of Counselling : CCC Registered Counsellor.
- I am registered with the International Natural Healers Association.
Hobbies & Spare Time.
I teach Papercraft and Stamping classes for Als Art Stamps & Crafty Bits in Lincoln ( www.alsarts.co.uk).
I am webmaster to a few websites, and all the fun that entails, having done my Advanced Level 3 Certificate in Telematics!
I am an avid reader of spirituality and self development texts, amongst many other texts.
I am a reviewer for Publishing News, a Director of the Lincoln Business Improvement District/Group and on the Review Board of www.thegoodbookstall.co.uk.
I practice Usui Reiki to master level and also have an interest in other forms of healing practices, those that are often mis-termed as New Age practices but in fact reflect an older non-invasive style of medicine and wholebeing.
I also love all types of music, movies and hanging out with my 8 year old niece!
Current projects and Activities
Working for the Registered Charity, SPCK, ( www.spck.org.uk/lincoln & www.spckonline.com ). This is the oldest anglican mission society having been founded in 1698.
Producing Work related Training Manuals and doing training for SPCK.
Mentoring.
Youth Work in a church environment.
Running Reading and Writing Groups, a Discussion Group and a Spiritual Book Group.
